Maud Lewis: Coming Home

June 21

September 20

Cost: Free

Location: Land's End Arts & Culture Society – 341 Main Street, Yarmouth

From June 21st to September 20th, a curated exhibition of approximately 80 original, privately-owned artworks by the famous Nova Scotian artist Maud Lewis will be on display in Yarmouth.

Maud Lewis was born in Yarmouth County, and the Town of Yarmouth was home to Maud for half of her life. This will be the largest exhibition of Maud Lewis artworks to ever take place in South Western Nova Scotia, and will mark the first time that many of the exhibited paintings have travelled to Maud’s hometown.

Not only will this exhibition mark a homecoming for Maud Lewis, but also for the gallery space. This exhibition will mark the opening of a renewed, permanent, locally-owned art gallery, run by the volunteer arts organization, Land’s End Art and Culture Society.

Visit the exhibition 7 days a week from 10am to 6pm at 341 Main Street, Yarmouth, Nova Scotia June 21st to September 20th.
